Soldier Island
As Missus Rogers busies herself readying the next course for dinner, the guests of Soldier Island chatter quietly around the table, enjoying a superb lobster soufflé. The sea is beginning to roil. Its mounting attack on the rocks surrounding the island is just audible through the window --cracked to release some of the punishing heat in the kitchens. A storm brews overhead, and the occasional loud crash of thunder startles Missus Rogers horribly. She fears what the night will bring.
Little do the guests and staff invited by Mister and Missus U.N. Owen know, their surprise holiday is to become a harrowing trial for their crimes. Dinner is just the beginning.
