Marley's Ghost Visit
Scrooge sits close to his small fire, but his shivering isn't from the cold night. Scrooge likes the cold. The memory of Marley's face on his door knocker, however, lingers in his mind as the bell nearby begins to chime. The rattling of chains and the approaching footsteps announce the truth Scrooge fears - Marley, dead as a doornail, has come to haunt him.
