Dawn Patrol
Hardly anyone in camp is awake, and you're wondering to Starclan why you agreed to take the first patrol of the day. The den is warm, in contrast, you guess, to the persistent rain outside. Some cat is purring peacefully, no doubt dreaming of blue skies and vivid sunlight. You resist the urge to roll over and go back to sleep, instead trying to focus on the drip-drip-dripping of a leak in the den wall, hoping it will irritate you into wakefulness. The moss nest you crouch in is more comfortable than you can comprehend, and you are going to get up... soon...
